Energence Renewable
Energy Corporation
Probus Finser Philippines Inc. has participated in the development and structuring of Energence Renewable Energy Corporation (EREC) by providing project development and advisory support as part of its portfolio of companies developed in the renewable energy and agriculture sectors.
Probus Finser’s involvement covered early-stage project development and coordination, including support in project structuring, technical and commercial alignment, regulatory coordination, and stakeholder engagement. This participation was undertaken in close collaboration with Energence Management Consulting Corporation (EMCC), reflecting a coordinated development approach designed to meet the standards expected of infrastructure-grade energy projects.
Through this collaborative framework, EREC was developed with an emphasis on disciplined project planning, regulatory compliance, and long-term asset viability, consistent with the requirements of institutional lenders, energy off-takers, engineering partners, and public-sector stakeholders.
About Energence Renewable Energy Corporation
EREC is a Philippine-based renewable energy company established to develop, own, and operate utility-scale solar power generation facilities that meet the technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements of institutional and infrastructure-grade energy projects.
The company and its principal project were developed through the joint participation of Probus Finser Philippines Inc. and Energence Management Consulting Corporation (EMCC) under a coordinated development framework encompassing project structuring, technical coordination, regulatory alignment, and stakeholder engagement. This approach reflects a deliberate emphasis on disciplined, standards-aligned project development, rather than promotional or speculative activity.
EREC was formed to support national energy transition objectives, advance sustainable infrastructure development, and contribute to long-term power supply reliability through grid-connected solar assets. Its development philosophy emphasizes infrastructure- grade standards, compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks, and alignment with the expectations of lenders, energy off-takers, engineering partners, and public-sector stakeholders.
Through the combined involvement of Probus Finser and EMCC, EREC’s projects are structured with a focus on technical rigor, risk-managed development processes, and long-term asset stewardship, ensuring safe commissioning, compliant operation, and sustained performance throughout the project life cycle.
Project Significance and Key Features
EREC’s principal project is a ground-mounted solar power plant facility located within the Clark International Airport complex in Clark, Pampanga. The project is notable within the Philippine renewable energy landscape due to its scale, strategic location, and integration within critical infrastructure.
The facility is among the first ground-mounted solar power plants installed within an international airport in the Philippines, demonstrating the technical feasibility of integrating large-scale renewable energy assets within aviation environments.
By capacity and site footprint, the project is recognized as one of the largest ground-mounted solar power installations situated within an international airport complex in Asia, particularly within the Clark International Airport area.
The project supports the decarbonization of energy use within major transport and economic hubs, while maintaining strict compliance with aviation safety, land-use, and regulatory requirements.
The location within Clark International Airport—a strategic economic zone and international gateway—further underscores the project’s relevance to institutional stakeholders and long-term infrastructure planning.
